The delicate and unique balance of flavors in Zacapa No. 23 comes from a blend of rums aged between 6 and 23 years using the solera system. Zacapa No. 23 is aged in select barrels that previously contained full-bodied American whiskey, delicate sherry, and fine Pedro Ximénez wines, resulting in a smooth and wonderfully balanced rum. Zacapa No. 23 is best enjoyed neat, on the rocks, or in one of the darker cocktails.

ON THE NOSE
It starts off smooth and sweet, with aromas of caramel, vanilla, cocoa, and butterscotch. Then, notes of sherry, roasted and caramelized Brazil nuts, and roasted hazelnuts appear, finishing with flavors of caramel, banana, and dehydrated pineapple.
IN THE MOUTH
Complex, generous and full-bodied. It presents a great depth of dried fruit and apricot, leading to flavors of oak, nutmeg, leather and tobacco, with notes of coffee and vanilla, all balanced by a touch of spice from cinnamon and ginger.
